On September 11th, 2020, the peloton will start from Chatel-Guyon for a 191.5km stage with 4400M of difference in altitude (the biggest of the 2020 edition). The start will be given at 9:45 from Chatel-Guyon, the riders are expected from 16:41 at the Pas de Peyrol.
The arrival of the Tour de France at the Pas de Peyrol pass, due to the configuration of the place, requires the closure of some roads.
Access to the Pas de Peyrol pass will not be possible with a vehicle due to the configuration of the site. From September 10th, the access roads to the Pas de Peyrol pass will be closed to traffic and parking will be prohibited. In order to access the arrival site, 11 hiking trails will be at your disposal. Cards with the route and the altimetric profile have been created for the 11 trails, GPX tracks are also available to have on your GPS, smartphone, tablet.
Beware the portion of the GR©400 passing through the Brèche de Roland and the summit of Puy Mary will be prohibited, it will be necessary to pass through the variant of the GR©400 under the Brèche de Roland.
